An educated society is a growing society so when you empower people through education everything changes. Maendeleo Mapya Grassroot Initiative strives to create a society where the underprivileged in rural, slums and marginalized have equal access to quality education. In partnership with local and international volunteers, we have school mentorship program which enhance self-esteem, self-confidence, Improved behavior, both at home and at school. Stronger relationships with parents, teachers, and peers. This has led to academic improvement of various learners.
We have sponsorship program for both the primary and secondary school learners from less privileged families and also source for basic commodities for primary school learners ie books, uniforms and shoes.
Maendeleo Mapya Grassroot Initiative works in collaboration with underprivileged in slums, rural and marginalized communities as a development, advocacy and empowerment organization in an effort to empower them to identify cause problem, leverage opportunities and find solutions to alleviate poverty and dependence. Our areas of operation are; Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Nairobi, Kajiado and Taita Taveta.
